  • How long does it take?
Typically, your first microblading session would take 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the client. This includes consultation, consent form, design, numbing cream, and procedure. Combo brows (Microshading) would take 2 hours to 2.5 hours depending on the client.
  • Can I wear makeup after eyebrow tattoo?
After microblading, you should wait until any scrabs have healed before wearing makeup. It typically takes between 7 to 14 days for them to heal completely. As well as makeup, you should avoid touching the eyebrow area with your fingers or with moisturizer that could irritate the skin. Scabbing or flaking of the skin is normal in the tattooed area, as our skin is healing itself.
  • How long does microblading last?
Microbladed and combo eyebrows last 1 year on average for most people. Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered permanent and will not wash off, however, they will fade over time and may need to be refreshed every 6 months to 15 months depending age, skin type and proper care.
  • What is the difference between microblading and microshading?
Microshading uses pin-like dots of pigmentation to achieve a powdered eyebrow look. Microblading uses a bladed needle to apply pigmentation underneath the skin. The technician fills your brows by making hair-like strokes that look like natural eyebrow hair.
  • Do I still need to get waxed after microblading?
Yes. Hair will still grow outside of your microbladed brow line and needs to be cleaned up. Also, microblading does not cover gray hair, you will still need to tint your brows if you would like to cover your grays.
  • Do I have to get a touch up for microblading?
You need to get a microblading touch up done between 30 to 60 days from the initial procedure. There would be an extra fee if you exceed 60 days. This is because everyone’s skin absorbs pigment differently, and your brow strokes will need some perfecting!
