PRE-CARE
POST-CARE
-
The skin would be swollen for up to 7 days from the appointment day, and it might look asymmetric eyebrows.
-
Please wash your face with water for the next 3 to 4 days, and do not use any oil products for the next 7 days.
-
Avoid swimming, sweaty exercising, sauna, and hot baths for 7 days.
-
Please apply the ointment for next 7 to 10 days with a ‘THIN’ layer. If you apply with a thick layer, the pigment would not stay.
-
No makeup products on the eyebrows for next 7 days.
-
No drinking and smoking for next 3 days to prevent infections and inflammation. Excessive drinking can cause wounds to heal slower.
-
Once the healing procedure takes place, you will likely notice
-
Dry skin flakes coming off
-
Pigments look darker and more red.
-
Brows itching
-
Please do not pick, peel, or scratch the area. Also do not remove the scabs. It would take 7 to 10 days for your skin to be completely healed.
-
The pigment would fade 20-60% depending on the skin type after the scabbling.
-
When the skin flakes off, the strokes would be lighter or even disappear. This is a normal process. The touch up corrects any irregularities.
-
Touch up is an optional service and you have to get it done between 30 to 60 days from the initial procedure. There would be an extra fee if you exceed 60 days.
-
Microblading would lasts10 months to 2 years depending on the skin type and daily activities.
-
Avoid sun tanning, salon tanning, UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading.
-
Avoid any laser/chemical treatments and creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the treatment area.
-
Avoid touching eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab
-
No Botox, facials, chemical treatments, microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
-
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
-
If you have any special health or skin conditions please let me know BEFORE the appointment.
If you already received permanent makeup before, please send me three pictures of your eyebrows (left, front, and right). Failure to do so may result in not receiving the procedure (due to color differences from the previous procedure). This will be considered as a ‘no show’ or a ‘same day cancellation’, and you would not be able to get your deposit back.
-
No permanent makeup during a pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.
-
No permanent makeup if you have diabetes, psoriasis, eczema, keloid, and/or allergic to pigments.
-
If you got Botox, fat grafting, filler, and any facial surgery in the last 3 months, you cannot receive a permanent makeup procedure.
-
If you take any prescribed medication or blood thinners of any kind; Coumadin, Aspirin, etc. A note from your doctor releasing you for both the procedure and allowing you to go off your medication 3 days prior to your first appointment is required. If you are under treatment for any form of cancer, you must wait until your treatment is complete. You are able to receive microblading a month after you have been cleared by your physician. Please bring a medical clearance note to your first appointment.
-
Do not take aspirin, vitamin E, and/or vitamin C one week prior to the procedure. (natural blood thinners)
-
Please do not wear contact lenses for 48 hours before and after the eyeliner appointment.
-
You cannot receive lash enhancement if:
-Had eyelid plastic surgery in the last 3 months
-Had Lasic or Lasek surgery in the last 6 months.
-
Please restrain from getting permanent makeup if you are in or near your menstrual cycle. It tends to bleed more, and you will also be more sensitive to pain.
-
Do not drink alcohol 24-48 hours before your appointment day. Fatigue can be a cause of bleeding and pain. You must take care of your health status before your appointment for the best result.
-
You can get a permanent makeup service after the opened-wound is healed.
-
Do not shave, tweeze, wax or pluck your eyebrows one week before the procedure
-
Please make your appointment when you do not have any facial skin problems.
-
Everyone has an asymmetric face and different muscle movements. Thus, it is impossible to make 100% symmetric eyebrows. I do not recommend the procedure if you cannot tolerate minute differences.
-
Please do not consume coffee or any caffeine on the appointment day.
